HUGO BOSS ASIA ART
Building on the success of its bi-annual collaboration, HUGO BOSS is delighted to continue its partnership with the Rockbund Art Museum to launch the 2019 edition of the HUGO BOSS ASIA ART Award for Emerging Asian Artists. The Award has been at the forefront in supporting contemporary Asian artists as a platform to offer visibility and critical discussion into their work. Since its inception, HUGO BOSS ASIA ART has worked with a growing network of collaborators spanning Greater China and Southeast Asia, helping the Award to become a vital meeting point for vital exchanges, breakthroughs, and facilitating new ways to contribute to the discourse of art practices in Asia. The shortlisted artists will be selected in collaboration with a jury panel of leading art figures across the region, a group exhibition will be curated by RAM Senior Curator Billy Tang, and this will together coincide with a program of education and research initiatives.

To coincide with the Award and group exhibition, a series of discursive events will be held in collaboration with the network of both past and present contributors. The initiative has functioned as an important way to discover and exchange together, with a deep commitment towards new possibilities, breakthroughs, and facilitating new ways to contribute to the discourse here in Asia.
